Hearing Impaired
In this section the emphasis is laid on speech and language development which enables the child to communicate. This paves the way for the child’s mainstreaming. The CBSE curriculum is being followed till secondary level. Open school which has semester system is implemented at Secondary level. The educational needs of these children are catered to by a qualified team. Selected children are sent for academic integration.
Mentally Subnormal
This section along with basic education, emphasis is laid on self help skills. Selected children are sent for academic Integration. C B S E curriculum is being followed with modification to suit the special needs of our mentally subnormal children. After class V, the children are screened and are sent either for pre-vocational training or middle schools according to the potential of the child. We also follow the open School system the academic coaching is provided by a team of special educators.
